Chalmette Battlefield
In depth historical tour of the Battle of New Orleans (Chalmette Battlefield). Discussion of the British Fleet, British Strategic Plans, Battle of Lake Borgne, Chalmette Battlefireld, and of course Jean Lafitte and the Barataria Pirates.
Plantation Tours
Drive north of New Orleans along the Mississippi River to either Evergreen Plantation or Oak Alley Plantation. After the tour, in depth discussion of the history of the sugar industry, slavery, industrialization of the sugar industry and the decline of the plantation.

This is a Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Raised in St Charles Parish and currently a New Orleans resident. Family arrived from France in 1767 and southern Louisiana has been our home for over 200 years. Our tours focus on why New Orleans was founded from a policy and strategic perspective. Our goal is to ensure you leave with an appreciation of the development and history of Louisiana after the French, Spanish and American periods. New Orleans culture, society, and traditions explained.

We are NOT a tourist tour mill. We ONLY book one tour a day (morning or afternoon). We only accept five people per booking (more if within the same family). Our goal is ensure you leave New Orleans with a more in depth appreciation of our city, our culture and our history. Anything less is unacceptable.
